About Sundarijal Hiking
Sundarijal Hiking is a famous one-day hiking trip near Kathmandu. Located 17 km northeast of Kathmandu, Sundarijal is a small village and gateway to the Shivapuri National Park. Sundarijal Hiking begins from a short drive from Kathmandu to the starting point of the hike. The trail goes through the Shivapuri Conservation Area and remote villages. Along the way, you will stop by Nagi Gumba. During the hike, you will get to see many species of birds and vegetation. The Sundarijal Hiking route consists of a total of 5 to 6 hours of hike, around 18 km.
